Make A Plan to Plan - CTMH Planners

Personally, I am lost without lists, sticky notes, and calendars. I will definitely be making a plan to sit down and fill out my new 2016 Everyday Life Planner. It is the time of year when we start wrapping up the old year and turning our gazes towards what is yet to come.

The new year is always full of promise and opportunity. Every year, millions of people make resolutions and vow to change their lives in the coming year. Unfortunately, those resolutions are often broken. Does that mean we no longer want those things for ourselves? Of course not. It means we lost focus and let other things slip in. Or maybe our priorities changed as things outside of our control changed. It is nothing to be depressed about or to beat ourselves up about. It is just a giant arrow pointing us to the one thing we were lacking...organization.

This year, rather than making a huge list of resolutions for 2016, I'm going to sit down with my 2016 planner and get organized. I'm going to take a look at goals I have had in the past that I did not quite reach and I'm going to put together an action plan to achieve them. I'm going to put those goals in my planner in the time frames I think are reasonable for reaching them. The key word there is reasonable. Don't be unrealistic with your goals. Give yourself plenty of time. My best piece of advice for the new year is to be kind to yourself!

Now tell me what your plans are for the new year!  Are you putting together your planner now?  What are you going to use it for?  Comment on this post or head over to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and let me know!

If you haven't purchased your 2016 planner yet, head over to my shopping site to get the same products I'm using.  You can also watch the tour of my planner products on my YouTube channel.
