National Papercrafting Day with CTMH

How did you spend National Papercrafting Day?  If you didn't know, it was January 28th.  It's too cool that there is a day of the year devoted just to papercraft and to all of us who love it!

During December, Close To My Heart had some awesome deals on mini album bundles.  I picked up a couple and spent the weekend turning one into a gift for a friend.  Here's a tip from me:  When CTMH has bundle deals, check them out!  There are usually some amazing deals.  The bundle I purchased was the Blush Mini Album bundle.
The bundle came with page protectors, gold overlays, and a pack of Hello Gorgeous cards.  It's everything needed to make an incredible mini album.  Using a few bits from my craft stash, I took the Blush album and turned it into this.
My friend is going to be moving soon and I wanted to put together a little something for her.  I know she follows my social media so I can't do a complete flip-through, but here are a few of the pages.
One great thing about using Close To My Heart products is that they all coordinate.  I know that no matter what project I decide to take on, I can go into my stash of bits and bobbles and I will find something that color coordinates with what I am working on.

For this project, I used a clear Shimmer Brush, ShinHan markers, Shimmer Trim in Aqua and Gold, left over gold letters from the Welcome Home Wreath kit, stickers from the Base & Bling sticker sheets, chip board pieces from the retired Charlotte Complements and from the current Sugar Rush Complements, and Sea Glass cardstock.

Even though the album is no longer sold as a bundle, you can still find the Blush Instalife Album and everything you need to make a beautiful project at  I can help you!

Happy National Papercrafting Day!
