CTMH Featured Products Blog Hop - Stamps

Welcome to the CTMH Featured Products Blog Hop!  This is my first time participating.  I just couldn't miss out on the theme - Stamps!  I mean, it is Stampaganza month with Close To My Heart, after all.
When you are finished checking out my awesome stamping project, hop on over to Annette's blog and check out hers for even more stamping goodness.

Tonight I made a double pocket birthday card for my granddaughter.  It is REALLY bright and sparkly because she is turning 1 and babies love sparkles and colors.  You could easily tone this down with less glitter or by using a more subdued paper pack.

I stamped and fussy cut the Unicorn on the back with the Little Dreamer - Cardmaking stamp set.
The small tags were stamped and fussy cut using the Tagged with Love stamp set.  The large tag was stamped using the Storybook Alphabet and Etched Alphabet sets.  I colored in the A with our watercolor pencils.  "Have a Magical Day" comes from the Little Dreamer - Cardmaking set.

You need 5 pieces to make this card.  The outside base is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".  The inside base is 5 1/4" x 3 15/16".  The main inside tag is 3 3/4" x 3 3/4".
You also need to cut 2 pieces that are 4" x 12".  Score and cut both of them as shown in this picture.
Line the top of your inner base (5 1/4" x 3 15/16") up to the top of one of your 4" x 12" pieces and glue it down.  Then apply a strip of glue to the bottom of each "pocket", fold them over and glue them down.
Line the bottom of your inner base (5 1/4" x 3 15/16") up to the bottom of your other 4" x 12" piece and glue it down.  Then apply a strip of glue to the bottom of each "pocket", fold them over and glue them down.
Now you can slide your 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" in the top.  You can glue the back of the whole thing to the 5 1/2" by 4 1/4" piece to give it a nice boarder and cover up the back.  Alternatively, you could use a blank A2 card and glue it to the front.  Easy as pie but it looks really complicated!  The products used in this card are:

1. Storybook Alphabet (Stamp of the Month only available this month!)
2. Tagged with Love (Stampaganza set only available this month!)
3. Little Dreamer - Cardmaking (Available until 08/31/17)
4. Etched Alphabet
5. Little Dreamer Papers and Complements (Available until 08/31/17)
6. Cardstock in Blossom and White Daisy
7. Pink and White Twine from the current Adventure Ribbon Pack (retires 07/31/17)
8. Exclusive Inks in Blossom, Lagoon, and Thistle
9. Aqua Shimmer Trim (retires 07/31/17)
10. Watercolor Pencils
